The AFTRA Retirement Fund generally deposits monthly benefit payments into bank accounts or financial institutions on the first of the month, or the business day before when the first of the month falls on the weekend or federal holiday. However, please note that for the upcoming Sept. payment, the benefit payments will be distributed on Monday, Sept. 1. If you are enrolled to receive your monthly payments via Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), your pension payments will be posted by your financial institution on Sept. 2, 2025 due to the Labor Day holiday.

For benefit payments distributed via standard USPS mail, your payment should arrive during the week of Sept. 1.
